This plant has glossy, pointed and oval leaves, the white flowers emerge from the leaf stalk surrounded by a cupped white spathe that gradually fades from pure white to greenish or yellow over time.
Blooms usually appear in early summer and last for weeks. The pale green spathe turns white as it opens and surrounds the protruding spadix that is densely covered by its tiny, true flowers. When flowers start to fade, cut off the flower stalks as close to the base as possible.
Temperatures of 18-24C are best suited, in fact it is one of the easiest plants to maintain as it is best suited for indoor conditions.
