This wonderful plant, Chamaedorea seifrizii, will grow indoors to about 4-6 feet. It is often grown in a corner where it is “sheltered” and has room to grow.
Known for improving indoor air quality by passively absorbing toxins such as nitrogen oxides and formaldehyde.
Occasionally it produces little berries. These berries are extremely toxic. If they appear, it would be good to remove them before they get into trouble with children or pets!
